Join us for a delightful summer day out combining beautiful gardens and a nostalgic steam railway experience.
Our first stop is the stunning Borde Hill Garden, one of Sussex’s most treasured heritage gardens. Set within 200 acres of parkland, this award-winning garden offers spectacular seasonal planting, sweeping views across the South Downs, tranquil woodland walks, and vibrant borders bursting with summer colour. You’ll have approximately 2 hours 45 minutes to explore at your leisure, visit the café, or simply relax and take in the scenery.
We then continue to the iconic Bluebell Railway for a truly special experience, their popular Steam & Cream service. Step aboard a beautifully restored vintage carriage and enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey through the picturesque Sussex countryside, complete with a delicious cream tea served at your seat. It’s the perfect way to round off a relaxing and memorable day.
A wonderful combination of gardens, heritage, and indulgence – book early to avoid disappointment.
Travel in comfort by luxury coach, with complimentary drinks and snacks on board, and relax knowing our experienced tour manager will be on hand throughout the journey.
