Warner Welsh Escape (5 days/4 Nights)

Join us for a relaxing yet adventure filled break at the stunning Warner’s Boddelwyddan Castle Hotel in North Wales. Nestled within beautiful parkland, this adults only hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort,  the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking landscapes and fascinating towns of North Wales and beyond.

Day 1 (11th May 2026)

Travel & National Memorial Arboretum

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey as we make our way towards North Wales. En route, we stop at the serene National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, where you can take a stroll through landscaped gardens and pay tribute at this moving and inspirational site. After refreshments and time to explore, we continue to Warner’s Boddelwyddan Castle Hotel, with comfort breaks along the way. On arrival, settle into your room and enjoy your first evening in this elegant setting.

Day 2 (12th May 2026)

Welsh Highland Railway, Beddgelert & Portmeirion

A true highlight of the trip! After a short 1 hour drive, we board the Welsh Highland Railway at Caernarfon for a scenic steam journey through Snowdonia’s dramatic landscapes. We alight in the charming riverside village of Beddgelert, where you’ll have time to explore and perhaps enjoy a coffee in one of its quaint cafés.

We then continue to the enchanting Italianate village of Portmeirion, famous for its colourful architecture, lush gardens, and unique charm. With plenty of free time here, you can wander, take photos, or simply relax with lunch. Our scenic return journey takes us through Betws-y-Coed and along the coast at Conwy, before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 (13th May 2026)

A Leisure Day at Warner’s Boddelwyddan Castle

Today is all about relaxation. Take advantage of the hotel’s wonderful leisure facilities, enjoy a stroll in the grounds, or simply unwind. Warner’s hotels are known for their first-class entertainment and delicious dining , so today is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

Day 4 (14th May 2026)

Chester: History & Shopping

We head to the historic city of Chester, famed for its Roman walls, the magnificent cathedral, and the unique Rows, beautiful black and white timbered shopping galleries. You’ll have plenty of time to explore at leisure, whether that’s sightseeing, shopping, or enjoying a riverside stroll.

Day 5 (15th May 2026)

After breakfast, we begin our journey home, stopping at Trentham Shopping Village, a lovely destination offering a mix of independent shops, cafés, and garden centres, perfect for picking up a treat or two before we continue our journey back with comfort stops as required.

By booking on the website, you will be charged for the deposit only. The balance will be calculated and invoiced when due.
